Bring Me Vino are purveyors of a wide variety of speciality produce sourced from Italy and around the world. They deliver across Scotland, from Dundee to the Central Belt, bringing everything you need to create the perfect Italian night at home.
Before lockdown, Bring Me Vino supplied special quality wines and food ingredients to restaurants serving fine cuisine. When these businesses were temporarily shut, it provided owner Tom Smith with a catalyst for their plans to bring their wares directly to people’s homes.
He told us, “I’ve always been passionate about great wine and food and I wanted to create a business that I was passionate about. Starting Bring Me Vino was perfect as it allows me to enjoy my work.
“The lockdown has taught us to adapt and forced us to go online to survive. We’re enjoying the experience and are learning new things every day about what our customers want.”
Although he’ll be celebrating cautiously, when lockdown ends Tom is looking forward to visiting another favourite local business, Bar Napoli on Hanover Street. We’d raise a glass of Chianti to that!
