Edinburgh bars and pubs doing takeaway

Ok so for now we are staying in, with bars and pubs in Edinburgh closed for the time being. But we can do better than some supermarket cider. Many of our favourite bars and pubs are offering drinks to takeaway. We’ve pulled together a list so we can keep propping up our locals from the comfort of our couches.

Eating’s not cheating, especially when supporting local businesses. Check out our list of restaurants doing takeaway during the mini-lockdown.

West End and Old Town pubs

• The Green Room (West End) - Wine shop open for delivery or collection. Takeaway menu coming soon!
• The Jolly Judge (Old Town) - Pop in for off-sales and takeaway from 1pm-7pm.
• The Athletic Arms (Dalry) - "Diggers" will be open for offsales a few hours a day, with special offers on gin and whisky.
• Bow Bar (Old Town) - Open for cask and keg beers in 2.5l containers, plus some bottles and cans.
